Seiko Chrono - First To the Space

This picture shows an early batch of Seiko chronograph that was a favorite among pilots of USA and Asia.

Apparently a research had pointed out that this Seiko chronograph was among the first batch of chronographs worn by some US astronauts to the space, though the watch was not named officially by NASA. One of the astronauts who wore the Seiko chronograph to the space missions was Colonel Pogue as reported. That's why this Seiko is also called the "Pogue Seiko" by collectors.

I found one of this historical pieces in a dealer's shop in Macau.
